Kersey received her MFA from Washington State University, and her BFA, magna cum laude, from Texas
Tech University. San Antonio based, Kersey has served as an instructor at the Southwest School of Art and Craft and San Antonio
College. Kersey's earthenware pottery is made using the potter's wheel to form the vessels. Each pot is individually
created and is one-of-a-kind. All of Kersey's pots are glazed with hand-crafted, lead-free alkaline glazes, colored with
earthy metallic oxides.
